I never ventured much outside my green state of Assam, which is synonymous to finest Assam Tea, and Assam Silk. Being the only region in the World other than South China with native Tea Plants.

I first got married to, and than fell in love with my husband of now 10 Years. He is an avid traveller, with an amazing good speaking skills and is a good cook as well. Although he is behind pushing this lazy 'Stay at home Mom' of two kids (6 yr old boy named Suhayl and a 3 old girl Alysha) into creating this Blog to share my cooking experiences, but the real inspiration is my son who is a foodie and my greatest critic. My love for cooking started only after I got married and moved to Bong Capital of India - Kolkata and luckily it's still going strong.
I not only love to
experiment with a variety of cooked foods, but also love to invite people to
try my stuffs; well no one had any adverse effect so far! I look forward to
posting meals that are easy to prepare and at times give a 'East-Bengali' touch
to it.
