    Kaddu Ka Murabba

    Kaddu ka murabba is prepared and preserved in a sugar syrup flavored with cinnamon cloves and cardamoms.It can be served as sweet.



    Ingredients:
              10 to 15 medium pieces of Kaddu (about 2/2 inches) without seeds
              3 to 4 Cardamom 
              1inches long Cinnamon stick
              1½ cups Sugar
              3cups of water
              1tbsp Lemon juice

    Method:
              In a pan boiled the Kaddu for 2 to 3 min. Then drain the water and fork them.
               Now in a pan add sugar and water, and cardamom, cinnamon and bring them to boil.
              Then add Kaddu and cook them  for about 40 min to 1hr min on low flame.
              Add lemon juice to stop Crystallization
              And leave it for one day.
              Next day again boiled it for 15 min on low heat. (If syrup get thin, boiled it for few more min. to make it thick)
              Let it to cool, and refrigerate it.
               Serve with curd rice or as a sweet.

    Cook Tip: One more thing if you do not use lemon juice it will be crystalized. It will become candy. One more thing If syrup get thin, boiled it for few more min. to make it thick)
