Whole Wheat Flour Gnocchi

Gnocchi are various thick, soft dough dumplings that may be made from semolina, ordinary wheat flour, egg, and cheese, Whole Wheat Flour gnocchi are an easy, and can be serve as snack



Ingredients:
          Whole Wheat Flour
          1Egg
          1tbsp ghee
          Salt to taste
          Oil for deep frying

Method:
          At first combine flour , ghee and Egg in a large bowl. Knead until dough forms a ball. Add little water if needed. Keep a side for 15min.
          Now divide the dough in to small portions and roll them into a rope like shape on a floured surface, cut the rope into half-inch pieces.
          For the shape of the gnocchi, place a piece of gnocchi against the backside of a fork. Use your thumb to gently press down on the gnocchi, and it should curl into a slight “C”(or Press a piece of your gnocchi dough onto the fork and roll it off the fork gently. This step requires practice.)
          Now heat oil in a pan on medium heat and deep-fry the small batches of Gnocchi at a time till brown.
          And serve it as a snack.
