Cod Fish Shami Kabab

Kabab , is no doubt one of my most favorite , I experimented it with Codfish and it  comes out just perfect.

Makes/Serves: 2 Servings

Ingredients:
          2cup finely sliced cod fish

1/2 cup of chana dal ( soaked in water for at least 3 to 4 hours .)

          1/4 cup finely chopped Onion
          3 slices of bread(or 1boiled potato)
          2tsp chopped Mint l eaves
          2tbsp chopped Curry leaves
          1 tsp chopped Green Chilies

1 tsp Garam masala powder (optional)

          1/2 tsp Chili powder
          1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
          1tsp Cumin seeds

2 tbsp Egg white
          1tbsp Lemon juice
          Oil for deep frying

          Salt to taste

Method:
At first drain all the water from the chana dal and boil. Dry out the water, the dal should be intact but fully boiled. Now blend the dal in the blender.
Now combine all the other ingredients to the mashed chana dal and mix them well .
Now Make small round flattened balls from the mixture
Heat the oil in a pan and deep-fry the kababs on medium low heat. Now take out the kabab on the paper towel to soak the excess Oil.
          Serve hot.

Cook Tip: You can store the kababs in deep fridge for a quite a long time. If you want to store, then don’t fry them. After shaping keep them in a box and refrigerate. Fry them and serve whenever you need.
