Kabab , is no doubt one of my
most favorite , I experimented it with Codfish and it comes out
just perfect.
Makes/Serves: 2 Servings
Ingredients:
•
2cup finely sliced cod fish
•
1/2 cup of chana dal ( soaked in
water for at least 3 to 4 hours .)
•
1/4 cup finely chopped Onion
•
3 slices of bread(or 1boiled
potato)
•
2tsp chopped Mint l eaves
•
2tbsp chopped Curry leaves
•
1 tsp chopped Green Chilies
•
1 tsp Garam masala powder (optional)
•
1/2 tsp Chili powder
•
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
•
1tsp Cumin seeds
•
2 tbsp Egg white
•
1tbsp Lemon juice
•
Oil for deep frying
•
Salt to taste
Method:
•
At first drain all the water from
the chana dal and boil. Dry out the water, the dal should be intact but fully boiled.
Now blend the dal in the blender.
•
Now combine all the other ingredients
to the mashed chana dal and mix them well .
•
Now Make small round flattened
balls from the mixture
•
Heat the oil in a pan and deep-fry
the kababs on medium low heat. Now take out the kabab on the paper towel to
soak the excess Oil.

Serve hot.

Cook Tip: You can store the kababs in deep fridge for a quite
a long time. If you want to store, then don’t fry them. After shaping
keep them in a box and refrigerate. Fry them and serve whenever you need.
