Saucy Chicken is very tasty, in
which chicken cooked with tomato sauce and can served with rice and pulao.
Ingredients:
•
Chicken legs 6 pieces,
•
2 Onion cut into thin slices (medium
sized)
•
2tbsp Ginger and Garlic paste
•
1 tsp Chilli powder
•
1 tsp Pepper powder
•
1/2tsp Garam Masala
•
3 tbsp Tomato sauce
•
1tbsp Sugar (optional)
•
1Bay leaf
•
1inch Cinnamon
•
Salt to taste
•
3tbsp Oil
Method:
•
Marinate
the washed and dried chicken with Salt, Chilli powder, Ginger and Garlic paste
and Pepper for about 1hr.
•
Heat Oil in a thick-bottomed pan
add the Sugar and allow it to caramelize.
•
Now add bay leaf and Cinnamon. Next
add the Onions. Fry on a medium flame for 3 to 4min.
•
Add the Chicken pieces. Let the pieces
get brown on all sides.
•
Now close the lid of the pan until
the chicken is cooked.
•
Open the lid and add the Sauce, Pepper
and the Garam Masala. Fry on a medium flame till well done.
•
Serve with pulao or rice.
