2 tbsp Olive oil
•
1 Bay leaves
•
3 to 4 Pepper corns
•
½ cup chopped Onion
•
2 tbsp chopped Garlic
•
1 cup Tomato puree
•
¼ cup Tomato ketchup
•
1tbsp Sugar
•
1tbsp Chili flakes (or to taste)
•
Salt to taste
•
2 tbsp Dried Oregano
•
1 tbsp Dried Basil
Method:
•
Heat the Olive Oil in a pan; add
the Bay leaves and Peppercorns and sauté for a few seconds.
•
Add the Onions, Garlic and sauté on
a medium flame for about 2 minutes.
•
Add the Tomato puree, Tomato
ketchup, Sugar, Chili flakes and Salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for
2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Now add the dried Oregano and
Basil and mix well.
•
Remove the Bay leaves and Pepper
corns and discard them.
•
Pizza sauce is ready.
