    Pizza Sauce




    Ingredients:
              2 tbsp Olive oil
              1 Bay leaves
              3 to 4 Pepper corns
              ½  cup chopped Onion
              2 tbsp chopped Garlic
              1 cup Tomato puree
              ¼ cup Tomato ketchup
              1tbsp Sugar
              1tbsp Chili flakes (or to taste)
              Salt to taste
              2 tbsp Dried Oregano
              1 tbsp Dried Basil 

    Method:
              Heat the Olive Oil in a pan; add the Bay leaves and Peppercorns and sauté for a few seconds.
              Add the Onions, Garlic and sauté on a medium flame for about 2 minutes.
               Add the Tomato puree, Tomato ketchup, Sugar, Chili flakes and Salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Now add the dried Oregano and Basil and mix well.
              Remove the Bay leaves and Pepper corns and discard them.
               Pizza sauce is ready.
