Mooli ki salad
Mooli ki salad
Mooli ki salad is a very easy recipe and goes very well with dal-rice.
Ingredients:
•
2 cup grated Mooli (Radish)
•
3 tsp chopped Green chilies(or to
taste)
•
2 tbsp chopped Fresh Coriander
•
¼ cup finely sliced Onion
•
1tsp Lemon juice
•
½ tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
•
½ tsp Mustard seeds
•
Salt to taste
•
1 ½ tsp oil
Method:
•
In a bowl take grated Radish (Mooli),
chopped Green chilies, chopped Fresh coriander, Lemon juice and Salt. And mix
well.
•
Now heat a pan, add Oil then add Cumin
seeds, Mustard seeds, Onion and sauté them for about 2min.Then transfer them to
mooli mixture bowl. And mix well.
•
Mooli ki salad is ready.
•
Serve with dal-rice.

Sweet Nimki
Sweet Nimki
Sweet Nimki is a very
popular Bengali snack for tea or coffee.
Ingredients:
•
1 cup all purpose flour Or
Maida
•
¼ cup Sugar
•
¼ tsp Salt
•
1 tsp Ghee
•
¼ tsp Baking powder
•
Water for Knead the
dough
•
Oil for deep frying
Method:
•
In a bowl take Maida, Salt, Sugar,
and Baking powder together and mix well. Now add the Ghee to the Maida mixture
and mix well.
•
Now add a little water at a time
to Maida mixture to make the dough. Knead the dough to make
it smooth. Now cover the dough with damp cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.
•
After that take the dough and make
2-3 equal size balls and roll each ball like paratha. Now prick
the paratha with a fork. Now cut the circle in small diamond shapes.
•
Heat Oil in a deep pan.Fry the
Diamond shaped Nimkies in low heat. Fry till they are golden brown. Remove them
onto paper towel.
•
Serve them as snack with tea or
coffee
