    Apple Fritters

    Apple Fritters are small cakes made with a Apple that is mixed with an egg and milk batter. And it can be make either pan-fried or deep-fried.




    Makes/Serves: 2 Servings


    Ingredients:
              2 Apples 
              3tbsp all-purpose flour
              2 tbsp Corn starch
              1 tsp Cinnamon powder 
              2 tbsp Honey to drizzle
              2tbsp Lime juice diluted with water 1 cup 
              1 Egg
              2tbsp Milk 
              Pinch Pinch of Salt 
              Pinch Baking powder 
              Oil to deep fry 

    Method:
              Peel, core and slice the Apples in thick half circle slices.
              Dip the apple slices in lime water and drain.
              Blend the all-purpose flour, corn starch, pinch of salt, baking powder, egg and milk together to make a smooth batter with the help of wire whisk .
              Heat oil, dip each slice of apple in the batter and deep fry them.
              Drain the deep fried apple fritters on tissue paper and repeat the frying process for all apples slices. 
              Serve the fritters dusted with cinnamon, icing sugar or drizzle honey over them.
