Masala paratha is
very easy to make. It is a good change when you are bored of simple plain
paratha.
Makes/Serves: 4pieces
Ingredients:
•
1cup
Whole Wheat flour
•
1/2 cup Maida
•
1/2
tspJeera
•
1/2
tsp Ajwain
•
1/2
tsp Garam masala powder
•
1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
•
1/2 tsp Amchur
powder
•
1/2t tsp cumin powder(or seeds)
•
1tbsp Yoghurt
(optional)
•
2tsp oil
•
Ghee for fry
•
Salt to taste
Method:
•
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and make a breadcrumb mixture.
•
Now knead into soft dough
using enough water.
•
Divide the dough into 4 equal
portions. Keep aside for about 15 min.
•
Roll out the balls into a circle,
using whole-wheat flour.
•
Place the paratha on a non-stick
pan. Turn over in a few seconds.
•
Apply some Ghee on both
sides. Cook both sides until brown in color.
•
Repeat with the remaining
portions to make 3 more parathas.
•
Serve hot.
