Paneer Paratha is nothing
but Indian bread stuffed with cottage cheese.
Ingredients:
For dough:
•
3/4 cup maida
•
1/4 cup ata
•
2tsp oil
•
Salt to taste
For
stuffing:
•
1/2
cup grated Paneer(or Chana)
•
2tbsp chopped Coriander
leaves
•
1tsp Cumin seeds
•
1tsp Amchur powder
•
Chopped Green Chilies to
taste
•
Salt to taste.
Method:
•
For the dough: Combine all the
ingredients and knead into soft, smooth dough using enough water. Divide the
dough into 3 equal portions. Keep aside for 15min.
•
For the stuffing: in a bowl mixed
grated paneer, chopped Coriander, chopped Green Chilies, Cumin seeds, Salt and
Amchur powder and mix it well.

Now roll out one portion of
the dough into a circle using whole-wheat flour for rolling.
•
Place 1to 2 tbsp of the
stuffing in the center of the circle. Bring together all the sides in the center
and seal tightly.
•
Roll out again into a circle
using whole-wheat flour.
•
Cook on a hot tawa, using a
little oil, till both sides are golden brown.
•
Repeat this with the
remaining dough.
•
Serve hot.
