    Paneer Paratha

    Paneer Paratha is nothing but Indian bread stuffed with cottage cheese.


    Makes/Serves: 3 pieces

    Ingredients:
    For dough:
                3/4 cup maida
                1/4 cup ata
                2tsp oil
                Salt to taste
       For stuffing:
                1/2 cup grated Paneer(or Chana)
                2tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
                1tsp Cumin seeds
                1tsp Amchur powder
                Chopped Green Chilies to taste
                Salt to taste.

    Method:
              For the dough: Combine all the ingredients and knead into soft, smooth dough using enough water. Divide the dough into 3 equal portions. Keep aside for 15min.
              For the stuffing: in a bowl mixed grated paneer, chopped Coriander, chopped Green Chilies, Cumin seeds, Salt and Amchur powder and mix it well.
               Now roll out one portion of the dough into a circle using whole-wheat flour for rolling.
               Place 1to 2 tbsp of the stuffing in the center of the circle. Bring together all the sides in the center and seal tightly.
               Roll out again into a circle using whole-wheat flour.
               Cook on a hot tawa, using a little oil, till both sides are golden brown.
               Repeat this with the remaining dough.
               Serve hot.
