Thur, (Banana Flower) is excellent source of fiber.
Ingredients:
•
1 can Thur
•
1/4 cup Masoor dal (soaked for 15
min or 1/2 hr)
•
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
•
1tbsp chopped Onion(optional)
•
2tbsp chopped Garlic
•
4 to 5 chopped Green Chilies
•
Chopped coriander leaves
•
2tsp Oil
•
Salt to taste
Method:
•
At first chopped the Thur and soak
them in hot water for about 15min.
•
Then on medium heat in a cooker add
Oil, when Oil get enough hot add garlic and green chilies, salute for about
1min.
•
Add Onion, Salt and Turmeric powder
cook for about 1min.
•
Now add Thur and dal, stir it, and
add about 1cup water.
•
Now with the lid on bring it to 3
to 4 whistle. Add Chopped coriander leaves, and turn off the heat.
•
Serve hot with rice
