    Beef Curry

    Beef Curry is best served with rice, naan or roti.


    Makes/Serves:  5 Servings

    Ingredients:
              2 pounds beef chuck(cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces)
              2 chopped Onion,
              1 tsp Ginger paste
              1tsp Garlic paste
              1 Bay leaf
              3 whole Cardamom 
              2 whole Cloves
              2 inch Cinnamon sticks
              1 tsp ground Cumin
              1 tsp ground Coriander
              1 tsp Turmeric powder
              1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
              1tsp Black Pepper
              4tbsp Olive oil
              1 cup water
              Chopped coriander leaves

     Method:
              At first Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper. 
              Heat oil in cooker over high heat and add Bay leaf, cardamom ,cloves, cinnamon sticks.
              Add beef and brown on all sides, it will take about 5 min
              Now Add onions; sauté until tender it will take about 5 min. add Ginger Garlic paste, and stir for 1 minute.  
              Now add ground Cumin, ground Coriander, Turmeric powder, Cayenne Pepper, and stir it for about 1 min.
              Now closed the lid and bring it to 2 to 3 whistles.
              Then open the lid and add water, stir it and again closed the lid and bring it to another 2 to 3 whistles.
              Now open the lid and stir it and add Coriander leaves. Turn off the heat.
              Serve with rice or roti.
