Beef
Curry is best served with rice, naan or roti.
Ingredients:
•
2 pounds beef chuck(cut into
1-1/2-inch pieces)
•
2 chopped Onion,
•
1 tsp Ginger paste
•
1tsp Garlic paste
•
1 Bay leaf
•
3 whole Cardamom
•
2 whole Cloves
•
2 inch Cinnamon sticks
•
1 tsp ground Cumin
•
1 tsp ground Coriander
•
1 tsp Turmeric powder
•
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
•
1tsp Black Pepper
•
4tbsp Olive oil
•
1 cup water
•
Chopped coriander leaves
Method:
•
At first Sprinkle beef with salt
and pepper.
•
Heat oil in cooker over high heat
and add Bay leaf, cardamom ,cloves, cinnamon sticks.
•
Add beef and brown on all sides, it
will take about 5 min
•
Now Add onions; sauté until tender
it will take about 5 min. add Ginger Garlic paste, and stir for 1 minute.
•
Now add ground Cumin, ground
Coriander, Turmeric powder, Cayenne Pepper, and stir it for about 1 min.
•
Now closed the lid and bring it to
2 to 3 whistles.
•
Then open the lid and add water,
stir it and again closed the lid and bring it to another 2 to
3 whistles.
•
Now open the lid and stir it and
add Coriander leaves. Turn off the heat.
•
Serve with rice or roti.
