Palak Paneer is very easy and delicious ,a
vegetarian North Indian dish consisting of Spinach and Paneer and seasoned with
Garam masala, and other spices
.
Ingredients:
•
200 gm Paneer cubes
•
1 1/2cups fresh chopped Palak
•
1cup chopped Coriander leaves
•
1 chopped Tomato
•
1tsp chopped green chili
•
1 large finely chopped Onion,
•
1tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
•
1/2 tsp Red Chili powder
•
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
•
1 tsp Coriander powder
•
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
•
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
•
1tsp Lemon juice
•
1 tsp Cream(optional)
•
Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp Oil (Ghee)
Method:
•
Boil Palak and Coriander leaves with
1 cup of water on medium heat for about 3 to 5 min. And make puree of it and
leave a side.
•
Now heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds,
when cumin seeds changes color add Onion, salt and Ginger Garlic paste , sauté
them for about 1 to 2min
•
Add tomato and cook for 5 more min
than add all spices.
•
Now add Palak puree and cook for about 3 more min.
•
Add Paneer pieces to the gravy and
simmer it for few more min.
•
Top with little cream (optional).
•
Serve with roti , naan or rice.
