    Green Chutney

    Green chutney is very easy and quick chutney made with coriander and mint leaves. It can be added in chaat varieties or used as a spread for sandwich or can be enjoyed with samosas, cutlet etc.



    Ingredients:
    ·      1/2 cup cilantro 
    ·      1/2 cup mint leaves
    ·      1/2 cup chopped tomato

    ·      1/4 cup chopped onion 
    ·      
2 tbsp chopped garlic

    ·      1 to 2 jalapeño (optional) 

    ·      1/2 tsp oregano

    ·      1/2 tsp cumin seeds

    ·      1/2 tsp fresh cracked pepper

    ·      1/4 cup olive oil

    ·      1tbsp lime juice 

    ·      Salt to taste

    Method:
    ·      In a pan add oil on medium heat. When oil get hot add chopped garlic and cumin seeds a sauté for few sec.
    ·      Now add onion, tomato, cilantro, jalapeño, oregano, limejuice and salt. Cook them for about 5 to 8 min.
    ·      Now blend everything well till smooth.
    ·      Serve the green chutney with Indian snacks like samosa, pakora etc.
