Butter Shrimp

Butter shrimp masala is one of the most famous Indian dish .It is very easy and quick to make and can be served with rice ,roti etc.


Makes/Serves:  3 to 4 servings

Ingredients:
·       3cups shrimps (about 15 to 20 pieces)
·      1 chopped small Onion
·      3 chopped small Tomato
·      1tbsp chopped Ginger 
·      1tsp chopped garlic
·      5 to 8 Cashew, (soaked in water for couple of mins)
·      1tbsp Coriander powder
·      1tsp Cumin powder
·      1 tbsp Cumin seeds
·      1tsp Turmeric powder
·      1tbsp Kasuri Methi powder
·      2tbsp Butter
·      1tsp Oil
·      Salt to taste
·      1tsp Garam masala powder
·      2 to 3 tbsp Cream 

Method:
·      At first marinate the Shrimps with pinch of Turmeric and Chili powder and a pinch of Salt for about few min.
·      Now shallow fry them for couple of sec. And keep a side. 
·      Heat a pan in medium heat, add Oil .Now add Onion, Ginger, Garlic and Tomato and cook for 3 to 4 min. Or till Tomato get soft.
·      Now add Turmeric powder, Coriander   powder, Cumin powder and Salt and Cashew and cook for 3 to 4 min.
·      Now take a blander and pour them to make puree with litter water.
·      Now in the same pan add Butter on medium heat, when Butter get melt add Cumin seeds.
·      When Cumin seeds changes color, pour the puree to the pan and cook it for  5 min or puree reduce to half.
·      Add water if you need more gravy
·       Now add shrimp and Kasuri Methi, stir it. cook  for 3 to 4 min.
·      Sprinkle Garam masala powder.
·      Add cream, stir it and off the flame.
·      Serve with Roti or Rice.

Cook Tip: If you are using cooked shrimp, then no need to fry them, you can directly add them.
