Sweet Potato Jamun‬‬‬‬

Sweet potato Jamun is nothing but a Sweet potato fritter.


Makes/Serves: 7 to 9 pieces

Ingredients:
          1 medium Sweet potato (boiled and mashed)
          2tbsp Milk powder
          3tbsp Maida
          3tbsp Khoya
          A pinch of Baking powder
          A pinch of Cardamom powder
          1 cup Sugar
          1tbsp Lemon juice
           A pinch of Saffron
          Oil or ghee for deep frying

 Method:
          At first cook Sugar and ½ cup water, stirring till you get one string consistency syrup. Add Saffron and Lemon juice and mix well.
           Now mix mashed potato with milk powder,Khoya, Maida, baking soda and. Add green cardamom powder and mix them very well.
          Now make small jamun balls from the mixture.
          Now heat a pan add oil when Oil get hot Switch off the heat and slide the jamun into Oil.
          When the jamuns rise above the oil, turn on the heat and fry them on low heat, slowly stirring continuously, till golden brown.
          Drain and soak the jamuns in Sugar Syrup for at least 30 min. 
          Serve it as sweet.
