Chicken Masala or Chicken Bhuna

No need for an introduction, this Chicken dish has different variety across India, this is my personal favorite without much gravy.

Makes/Serves: 3 to 4 Servings

Ingredients:
          1/2 kg Chicken
          1 big Onion chopped
          1/2 tsp Garlic paste
          1/2 tsp Ginger paste
          1tsp Turmeric powder
          1tsp Chili powder
          1/2 Coriander powder
          1 tsp Cumin powder
          1 Bay leaf
          2 Cardomon
          1inch long Cinanamon
          1tsp Kasuri Methi powder 
          2 to 3 tbsp Olive Oil (or ghee or Vegetable Oil)
          Salt to taste

 Method:
          In a bowl marinate the chicken with chili power, turmeric powder salt for about 10 to 15 min
          Heat a pan on medium heat add oil and bay leaf, cardamom, and cinnamon.
          Now add ginger garlic paste suate for few sec.
          Then add chicken pieces on, stir and it cook for about 5 min.
          Now add onion and salt stir it for about 5min.
          Add chili powder, turmeric powder stir well and closed the lid and cook for about 10 to 15 min. Stir in between and add water little by little (4 to 5 tbsp water) onion will melt by this time
          When chicken half done add cumin and coriander powder and cook it on low heat for about 5 min.
          Now add water about 1/4 cup cook for it for 5 to 10 min on low heat.
          Add Kasuri Methi powder stir it and closed the lid and off the flame
          Serve with Roti or Rice.

Cook Tip: You can add one chopped tomato if you like a tangy taste.
