    Thur (Mocha or Banana Flower) ke Kabab

    The banana flower is a large, dark purple-red blossom that grows from the end of a bunch of bananas. Banana flowers are considered as Rich Source Of Vitamins And Mineral. 


    Makes/Serves:  10 pieces

    Ingredients:
                1 can of Banana flower
                1 chopped small Onion,
                1or 2 chopped Green Chili, 
                1tbsp ginger-garlic paste.
                1/4 cup Corn flour
                1/2 cup Dry Breadcrumbs (or as needed)
                2tbsp Egg white 
                1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
                1 tsp Coriander Powder
                1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
                1tbsp Cumin seed
                1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
                1tsp Amchur powder
                2 tbsp finely chopped Coriander Leaves
                2 ot 3 Bread slices
                2tbsp Milk
              Salt to taste
              Oil for deep fry

    Method:
               In a saucepan steam cook the banana flower, for about 10 to 12 mins. 
              In a bowl soak the bread with milk.
              In a grinder add steam cooked banana flower and grind them to make a paste.
              Now transfer the flower paste to the soaked Bread bowl and add 1 chopped Onion , Corn flour, chopped green Chili , ginger-garlic paste ,Egg white, and all the spices, Salt to taste, and add bread crumbs. And mix them very well.
              Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions. Give them a round shape as ball then flat them with the help of palm.
              In a pan heat the oil and deep-fry them.
              Serve them hot with yogurt or chutneys.
