Maida Halwa is a delicious Indian
dish served as a Dessert.
Makes/Serves: 10 square pieces
Ingredients:
•
1/2
cup all purpose flour (Maida)
•
1/2 cup sugar
•
2 to 3 tbsp Ghee (or Oil)
•
3 tbsp Almond slices
•
1 cup water
•
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
•
Pinch of red food color
Method:
•
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan on
medium heat.
•
Fry the Maida in ghee, fry
continuously. Till nice aroma comes. Keep it on low flame.
•
Mean while on the other side boil
water.
•
Once the Maida is fried properly
add water .(Here you have to be very careful,here you have to stir the Maida with one hand continuously and with other hand you have to pour water into the mixture.)

When the water and Maida get mix
well and ghee starts coming out from of the mixture add Sugar, Cardamom powder,
Almond and a pinch of red food colour. When the sugar melts the Halwa will be ready.
