    Kurkure Mirchi

Kurkure Mirchi is a side snack that goes well with Dal-Rice or Roti just like the Bengali Kurkure Aalo Bhaji

    Makes/Serves:  1 to 2 servings

    Ingredients:
1 Long Green Pepper (Shimla Mirchi, Shillongi Mirchi)
              2 tbsp Gram Flour
              1/2tsp corn flour
              1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
              1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
               1 tsp Chaat Masala
              Salt to taste
              Oil for deep fry

    Method:
              Wash and dry the pepper.
Trim head and cut it into thin slices.
In a large bowl mix pepper slices, gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala and salt.
Heat oil in a kadai on medium flame.
When oil is hot enough, deep-fry the Pepper until they turn light brown and crispy.
And transfer to a plate having paper towel spread on it (to remove excess oil).
Crispy kurkure mirchi is ready. Sprinkle some chaat masala over it.

              Serve as starter or appetizer.
