Kurkure Mirchi is a side snack that
goes well with Dal-Rice or Roti just like the Bengali Kurkure Aalo Bhaji
Ingredients:
• 1 Long
Green Pepper (Shimla Mirchi, Shillongi Mirchi)
•
2 tbsp Gram Flour
•
1/2tsp corn flour
•
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
•
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
•
1 tsp Chaat Masala
•
Salt to taste
•
Oil for deep fry
Method:
•
Wash and dry the pepper.
•
Trim head and cut it into thin
slices.
•
In a large bowl mix pepper slices,
gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala and salt.
•
Heat oil in a kadai on medium
flame.
•
When oil is hot enough, deep-fry
the Pepper until they turn light brown and crispy.
•
And transfer to a plate having
paper towel spread on it (to remove excess oil).
•
Crispy kurkure mirchi is ready. Sprinkle some chaat masala over it.
•
Serve as starter or appetizer.
