Suji Ka Halwa is a very popular sweet dish all over India and is made on religious occasions. Easy to make and so delicious

Makes/Serves: 4 to 5

          1  cups Suji
          1/2 cup Ghee

          1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder

3/4 cup mixture of Cashews and Whole Raisins and Almond

Method:
Heat a deep pan on medium heat and add ghee. When it melts, add the Suji and mix well.
Roast the Suji (stirring frequently) till it begins to turn a very light golden color and it give a nice aroma. The roasted Suji will have the grainy consistency of wet sand. Now add the almond and raisins to the Suji and mix well.
While you are roasting the Suji, in a separate pot and on medium heat, boil water.
Now add sugar in suji stirring frequently for about 1 to min 2 min.
Now add water, and stirring all the while to prevent lumps from forming.so you get a smooth paste-like consistency. Cook the mixture till it is thick and begins to come away from the sides of the pan.
Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool to a warm temperature.
          Garnish with cashew and raisin.
          Serve it Hot.
